Beskrivelse
Small and functional WiFi pixel controller. Suitable for small and large setups, with one or more devices synchronized together.
Comes with WLED 0.13.0-b7 installed.
Instructions: User guide
Features:
- 1 pixel data port
- 2 ports for power injection
- Can control 1000+ pixels
- Strong data signal, up to 10m
- Can run on 5V or 12V
- Each of the 3 ports is secured with a 5A fuse
- LED indicator on the fuses
- Can handle up to 15A, through the screw terminal
How many pixels?
The device is tested to control over 1000 pixels, locally through WLED.
For the best experience, it is recommended not to run more than 800 pixels from one port.
The number of pixels controlled through xLights depends on whether E1.31 or DDP and WiFi signal strength is used.
Supports “3 wire pixels” like: WS281x series and SK6812 (RGBW)
WLED:
The controller comes with WLED installed and pre-configured. To support “Upload Outputs” to the controller from xLights, the version installed is WLED-0.13.0-b7.
The controller comes with LED Output pins and 50 pixels per port, pre-configured in WLED. To ensure a quick start.
It will be possible to download a custom-compile version of WLED that is delivered specifically for the controller HERE.
xLights:
The controller can receive E1.31 or DDP data from xlights and can be integrated into a light show programmed to music.
Due to limitations in the current version of xLights, only up to 9 universes can be sent through E1.31 to the controller.
What’s included?
Type: Med D1 mini:
- 1 piece E1-Wifi
- 1 piece D1 mini
- 1pc 3 pin, plug (3.81)
- 2pcs 2 pin, connector (3.81)
- 3 pcs 5A Fuses
Type: Without D1 mini:

- 3 pcs 5A Fuses
Set J1 before connecting power! Do not replace fuses with higher than 5A!
Advanced:
Pixel gates:
Each pixel signal runs through a logic level shifter of 5V and then a 33ohm resistor, which is optimized so that the data signal runs in the same cable as the power for short and long cable runs.
Other software:
It is possible to reprogram the device with other software, such as ESPixelStick, ESP-home or custom arduino code – Below you can see which IO-Pins are used.
